Company profile → Security focus
Security is a necessary focus point of computers and other digital systems, especially with internet-connected technology having become a key expectation of consumers, businesses, governments, and all types of organizations.
Inter-Corporate's focus on security and reliability, starting from day zero, includes clear policies and practices that emphasize:
- Data security: Regular backups; protection against unauthorized access
- Confidentiality: High-grade encryption; protection of sensitive information
- Privacy: Canadian privacy law-and-regulations compliance, enhanced by our internal standards for the proper handling of personal information
- Availability: Systems are consistently operational, with redundancy as needed; "anytime access" to knowledgeable technical support staff
- Integrity: Data processing is accurate and on-schedule
- Reliability: Predictive failure monitoring; regular updates to systems and software, as needed
- Interoperability: Preference to use modern protocols that are more secure, including with middleware development (where legacy systems conversion isn't a viable or timely option)
All data and systems that we are responsible for are physically located in Canada, with the only exceptions being foreign and multi-national clients who have case-by-case needs to store/replicate data to locations in other jurisdictions. In these scenarios, additional data isolation practices are utilized to satisfy the applicable complexities of legal compliance as part of customizing privacy/security/encryption policies with an aim to maintain the highest possible levels of information protection and data security.
We'll help you to secure your data and protect your information without adding unnecessary complexity. Contact us for more details.
Acknowledgements
A wonderful grassroots effort by security researchers and security experts alike to voluntarily report observed/discovered security issues to individuals and organizations responsible for systems that are connected to the internet behind-the-scenes is an important effort that helps to make the internet better overall for everyone (we also participate in this effort by helping others in this way).
Thank you to all the researchers and experts who've contacted us over the years to report security issues or reasonable concerns deserve acknowledgement for their efforts, and are therefore listed hereunder as a mark of appreciation (this list does not include automated systems, or those who've explicitly indicated that they don't want acknowledgement)...
